Flower in my garden

There is a flower in my garden
A flower like a rose but more

I have been wanting to harvest it

But unceasingly,

It has always said no

It makes me yearn like a bee

To mount on.

But I still let it be.

Because a garden is its home

A garden is where it belongs

And not in my flower jar.

With its aroma it anoints

Blooming all season

Never disappoints.

It calls me the water-can man

I care for it as much as I can

There is this flower in my garden

Like a rose but more

I yearn for it like a bee

Yet I still let it be.
